True Self Humility Fits Best…

One thing I’ve learned about humility is that it manifests in two forms.  The first, is  when the Bible tells us to humble ourselves and be clothed in it, which is the best advice.  The second, is when the Holy Spirit tries to bring you back in line after you have stepped outside of the instruction of the Word.  As a believer with a heart sensitive to God, you are going to be humbled one way or the other.  My friend graciously took time to meet me at his office and my emotions got the best of me.  After two hours of eye opening dialog I realized that one thing that I’ve always believed was still true, “There are two sides to every story.”  Honestly I didn’t come to get anymore information but wanted him to know that I wasn’t going to live one more day with a wrong attitude toward him.  In a flood of tears I asked the question…”will you forgive me?”  There is nothing that really describes the feeling of forgiveness.  Relationship Restored!  After several days I was again building my faith in God’s healing power and convinced that this cancer was going to disappear.  We were well on our way with our plans to move to Florida and God performed miracle after miracle concerning our relocation and the staff additions we needed in our company that we were leaving in Tulsa.  We arrived the first week of May 2009 and I was supposed to attend a conference with my new Pastors, Earl and Marci Glisson, at the end of the week in another state.  We were exhausted after arriving and it was agreed that we should get unpacked and get some rest.  When my Pastors returned, something was different and I heard him say that he had heard a message that shook him to his core.  I could feel the seriousness in his voice, he said, “its about the Kingdom of God”… WHAT!?!?  As quick as lightening, the Word the Lord  spoke to me in November of  2007 came back… “you’re not Kingdom minded enough!” Oh no… had I made another mistake by not going?…
